Ellen Lockwood, ACP, RP, is the lead author of the Division's Paralegal Ethic Handbook published by Thomas Reuters. She is also a past president of the Alamo Area Paralegal Association and a frequent speaker and writer on paralegal ethics.

She will be talking on the importance of conflicts of interest, potential conflicts of interest, steps to be taken when hiring paralegal with a conflict of interest, having an ethical wall is no guarantee opposing counsel will not file a motion to disqualify firm, and avoiding conflicts of interest as a notary.
